By entering The Pier, you agree to these regulations.
Access is free unless otherwise indicated for special or private events. A valid entrance ticket must be shown at the location for such events.
Dutch law and customary norms and values in the Netherlands apply on The Pier. During your visit, consider your own and other people's safety, property, and that of The Pier. Avoid dangerous situations and always treat each other with respect. Mischief, vandalism, violence, unnecessary noise, or any other unwanted behavior will not be tolerated. Possession of weapons, being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, selling or having drugs, and using objects such as phones, drones, GoPros, selfie sticks, etc. in a dangerous and/or disruptive manner is not allowed.
Vehicles are not allowed, except for emergency vehicles. Dogs, as long as they are leashed, are allowed.
You enter The Pier at your own risk. Any liability of The Pier is excluded, except for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence of The Pier. If you have damage, you must show it to the security of The Pier before leaving The Pier, and you must also have a report prepared by The Pier. The Pier is no longer liable for damage if the report is made after leaving The Pier.
You must always follow the instructions of our employees and emergency services and comply with the instructions on the signs and intercoms. The management is always authorized to close down an attraction or component. This does not give you the right to a refund.
If you are dressed inappropriately, we reserve the right to deny you access to The Pier.
It is explicitly not allowed to bring and/or consume your own food and drinks on The Pier. We can require you to hand over your own food and drinks.
Smoking is only allowed in the open air. Smoking is prohibited in all covered locations, including e-cigarettes.
Performing (commercial) activities, including recording, research, advertising, and collections, is not allowed on The Pier without prior written permission.
Camera surveillance is present on The Pier to protect your and our safety and property. Photos of you are also taken in the attractions and can be purchased on the premises of The Pier. The photos are displayed on screens.
Violation of these regulations can lead to refusal or removal from The Pier or, in certain cases, to a report to the police. There is no right to a refund in such cases.
The management reserves the right to search and check bags and ask for a valid identity document to protect safety or in cases where the facts and/or circumstances require it. If you do not cooperate, this can lead to removal from The Pier.
The management decides on all other cases not explicitly mentioned in these regulations.
